The Acorn Sisters were a family group from Kentucky. Joe Grieshop, the president of Acorn Records at the time, signed the sisters to a recording contract. To avoid confusion with another group that was using the Acorn Sisters' real family name, they took on the name associated with their record label. However, no mention was made of their real family name. Their names were Rosemarie, Goldie and Evelyn.
